Alien Invasion in Sendai, Miyagi, or Not?

 What do you do when you think there is an Alien invasion? Apparently, you gather your colleagues and point at the object from afar. This was the scene yesterday in the office as one person asked what is that shiny object hovering, just then another ran quickly to look and then another, and soon thereafter I was among the multitude.

We looked and speculated, but our curiosity remained such. Later that evening I am sure my colleagues were as disappointed as I was when the news did not give a definitive answer. The authorities could only speculate about the object.

The experts and amateurs seemed to have concluded that the object resembled a meteorological observatory balloon. And that is what we should all see it as.

As for me, well I am sticking with, aliens were doing a reconnaissance mission (it just sounds more interesting). If July fourth comes and we don’t get visitors from out of space I will do the right thing and crack an egg on my face. Until then live long, and prosper.
