The Reason You Felt Studying English is Pointless and Boring

From our previous article, we were able to understand, reasons to study English. However, there a few things that we should remember:

1. English is a global language
2. In non-English speaking countries, the business language of choice is English
3. All the beautiful non speaking English tourist destinations, communicate in English.

But lets get back on topic.

English speakers have English lessons too. We had to sit in that long hour session learning punctuation and other stuff we couldn’t understand. Some of us were brave enough to ask, how is this going to help us?

We already speak English.

So guess what…

As Asians (Japanese, Chinese….), learning English, we can understand your feeling of pointlessness.

However, let`s look at why studying English is great and what we should think about when studying English.

These destinations should be your English goals. If you are parents, you should think of the countless opportunities and experiences your children can have. Think about the numerous spots your children can enjoy.

Studying and speaking English can open many doors for many opportunities.

Lao Tzu said; “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”.
