600,000 Starlights

Over Six hundred thousand lights will shine brightly tonight in Jojizen-dori. The Sendai Pageant of Starlights will be on display from December 6, 2019, for the 34th time. Beautiful lights and  Christmas spirit will fill the evening air for 25 days.

It is a great place to go for a date. My wife brought me there for our third date. So, if you are in search of a place with a vibrant and romantic atmosphere you can’t go wrong there. If the lights do not fill your cup you can enjoy the displays in Kotodai park or the ice rink which is across from Kotodai park.

Jojizen-dori is a very lively area even without the lights, so I am sure you will find something fun to do. Just don’t go by yourself, because you will be seeing love birds and families all night. Take care and maybe I will see you there.
