What is TESOL?

TESOL means, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. A TESOL certificate is good for people who are uncertain about their teaching ambitions. This certificate will allow you to teach English in your native country or travel to other countries to teach English as a second language.

TEFL

TEFL stands for Teaching English as a Foreign Language. With a TEFL certificate, you can teach English in a country where English is not the primary language. This is the most popular use of the certificate as many native English speakers travel abroad to  teach English in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

TESL

TESL means, Teaching English as a Second Language. Like TEFL, TESL prepares teachers to teach English to non-English speakers. The difference, though, is the place where teaching happens. TESL courses are aimed at teachers planning to teach English to non-English speakers living in a native-English speaking country.

TESL qualifications can help teachers who are looking for work in English-speaking countries, such as the United States, Canada, and Australia.

TESOL Masters

Master of Education (M.Ed) in Teaching English  as a Second Language can be completed by people who already have a bachelor’s degree. With a masters degree you will expand your knowledge and qualifications as a teacher.

Working abroad as an English teacher is easier than you think. Once you have earned your TESOL/TEFL certificate, you will can access a job board.Teaching English is a great way to get started if you’re looking to become a better teacher or gain international experience.
